FAMILY SPONSORSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Numerous Canadians wish to bring in family members who are living abroad.

The Canadian government intends to make this possible through its Family Class Sponsorship program. Because of the Canadian government’s dedication to keeping families together, these programs are regarded as among the most generous in the world.

Spouses and common-law partners, dependent children, parents, and grandparents are all eligible for Family Class Sponsorship.

CANADA FAMILY SPONSORSHIP

Spousal / Common-Law Sponsorship

Through these programs, Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor their spouse or common-law partner’s immigration to Canada.

Parent / Grandparent Sponsorship

This program allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to apply for multiple entry visas good for up to ten years.

Child / Dependent Sponsorship

To enable Canadian citizens and permanent residents to bring their dependent biological or adopted children to Canada.

Please note that you only need to pay the difference if you choose to upgrade these services. Immigration can be a complex process and it’s best to minimize risk by checking your eligibility and the best path forward first before proceeding with the application. Family Sponsorship to immigrate to Canada

This program is meant for the reunion of family members in Canada.

Spousal Sponsorship

A spouse or common-law partner may be sponsored by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to obtain permanent residence in Canada.

In order for the foreign national to obtain a Visa, both the’sponsor’ (Canadian citizen/permanent resident) and the’sponsored person’ (the foreign national) must be authorized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

To be eligible for a Visa under this programme, both parties must demonstrate that their relationship fits into one of the three categories listed below: Spouse, Common-law Partner, or Conjugal Partner.

Please keep in mind that same-sex marriage is recognized in Canada, therefore same-sex couples may be allowed to apply under the above three categories if they meet all eligibility requirements. As clients, we accept same-sex candidates.

Family Sponsorship

This program is intended to bring together close family members in Canada.

Introduction to : Child of Other Dependant Sponsorship

Canadian citizens and permanent residents may sponsor their dependent children, parents and grandparents, spouse, common-law partner, and conjugal partners under the Family Class. The Canadian government is committed to keeping families together wherever feasible. As a result, Family Class applications are given first priority at Canadian Visa Offices.

The Dependent Child Sponsorship Program

Dependent children, natural or adopted, may become permanent residents in Canada and be sponsored to live with their parents under a subsection of the Family Class of immigration known as the Child Sponsorship Program (s).

In order for the child overseas to receive a Visa, both the’sponsor’ (Canadian citizen/permanent resident) and the’sponsored person’ (their child abroad) must be authorized by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

To be eligible for a Visa under this program, both parties must demonstrate their relationship to one another. If an individual’s adoption processes are nearing completion, the child may begin to be sponsored before the adoption is confirmed.

PARENT OR GRANDPARENT

Family Sponsorship

Family Class sponsorship and/or the Super Visa program are two options available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who wish to bring their parents and grandparents to the country.

Introduction to : Parent and Grandparent Program (PGP)

To register an interest in bringing their parent(s) or grandparent(s) to Canada, Canadian citizens/permanent residents must first fill out an online form on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.

It should be remembered that completing an Interest to Sponsor form is not an application. It is a necessary first step in enrolling in this program. Candidates who get an invitation to apply have sixty days from the date of the invitation to submit a full application and all supporting papers.

Introduction to : Parent And Grandparent Super Visa

The Parent and Grandparent Super Visa

This Visa permits the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens/permanent residents to visit Canada for up to a period of two years without need to renew their status. This Visa is valid for up to ten years and allows for re-entry throughout that time. It permits elder generations of a family to visit Canada for an extended length of time without workers’ rights.

Who Can Apply for the Super Visa?

The Super Visa may be available to parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
